Are you supposed to combine all the ingredients over a pot on medium heat or are you just supposed to combine it in a bowl? Please please! This quest!

The recipe doesn’t say anything about cooking over heat. In fact, one of the comments specifically says how great the recipe is because there’s no cooking a custard base....which it wouldn’t be anyway, as there are no eggs or other thickeners in the recipe.

I’d say to combine it in a bowl, stir it well, and then pour it into your ice cream maker.
