Making it Sweeter, Could I add a little powdered sugar if I feel it needs it? Would there be a problem with the texture?

I think you can add powdered sugar without a problem. It would only make the frosting thicker. Try adding a Tablespoon at a time at the end until you reach the desired sweetness or texture.
