Butter is not in method, when do you add this to the ingredients? ?

The recipe doesn’t seem to say where the butter goes? Can it be made without?

Looking at the other ingredients for this GF coconut bake, I recommend that you melt the butter and add it at the same time that you add the egg and coconut milk. I'd also beat the egg with the coconut milk and butter before adding it to the dry ingredients. That will ensure that the egg is more uniformly distributed throughout the dough.
