Over salted soup, how can I fix this?

How can I fix this. Thank you very much. I need to serve the soup for dinner.

A search for "soup too salty" brought a baker's dozen (sorry, mixed metaphor) of answers.
Maybe too late for yesterday's batch of soup.
I hope helpful if that batch is still in the fridge and/or for futures.

Add a peeled potato (I cut mine in half) and place in the pot and simmer for a while and do a taste test to see if it improves.
