Would this work with other berries?

I have a ton of blackberries and boysenberries. Would this recipe work with either? Would I need to tweak any of the filling measurements?

So great, thank you! I actually tried with boysenberries and added a little extra thickener and it worked fine for the Berry part. Unfortunately, non of my streusel floated out over the custard as pictured. I’d definitely take tips on how to make that happen!
