increasing from an 8 inch to 10 inch springform. pan

I only have a 10 inch pan but the recipe calls for an 8 inch pan. how can i adjust the baking time to accomodate a larger pan? (lower temp, but longer bake perhaps?). i don't really want to increase the ingredients in the recipe because it's already quite a large cake.

Not to worry. The baking time will be shorter. I don’t know what you’re baking, nor its specified baking time, but I suggest setting a timer for 10 minutes less than indicated for an 8” pan. Test it for doneness, then either pull it, or add time in increments of 5 minutes,
