MDH Butter Chicken spice blend

Has anyone ever used this? Picked it up on a whim the other day at the local Asian market. I think it would be a quick way to get dinner on the table, however the directions are a bit confusing. What do I marinate the chicken in?? Can anyone share their experiences with this blend? I have some methi that needs to be used sooner than later lol! Thank you! Instructions from package are below.

Recipe : Cut 500g chicken pieces and marinate them for half an hour. Mean-while make paste of 100g onions and 120g tomatoes. Also blanch, peel and grind 10 almonds into a fine paste adding ¼ cup water. Alternately cashew nuts or 20g poppy seeds can also be used. In a flat pan heat 50g edible oil and cook chicken pieces & onion paste till light pink for 10 min. Add tomatoes, almonds paste & 15g Butter Chicken masala. Add water. Cook for 15 min. till right consistency. Check seasoning. Serve with 1 tspn. cream poured on top

Diari - I have used a commercial version of butter chicken sauce (though not this particular spice blend) and it was a big help in making the dish at home. What the instructions left out (or maybe figured everyone reading it knew - not very helpful) is a marinade of yogurt and spices.
Look at linked article and recipe for details.
Use the MDH blend instead of the dry spices in the attached recipe.
