Can I substitute the dried cranberries with fresh cranberries?

I don't see why not. The dried cranberries are rehydrated with liquid and this dish doesn't look like such a substitution would cause a failure.

It will change the flavor profile just as fresh grapes taste much different than rehydrated raisins.

Whether or not such a change will please the diners at your table is your judgment call naturally.
