Does pineapple get marinated too?

Hi, does the pineapple go in the bag with the chicken to marinate, or is it kept aside from the marinade and added when the chicken goes to the baking pan? Thank you!

I’m reading it that the (plain/non-marinaded) pineapple goes on the pan with the chicken. You drizzle the sauce over the chicken and pineapple.
