could you use an air fryer instead of oil?

I'm sure you could do it, because they would be pretty similar to doing an egg roll. You would want to coat the outside with oil though, and turn half way through cooking. I don't know that it would be easier, but it would probably use less oil- and you would not have to heat up a pan of it to fry them. The outside texture won't be quite the same, air fried is still baked- not truly fried, so it doesn't have quite the same taste or texture as a deep fried item.
