Can i use melted butter instead of browned butter for cookies? ?

I recently made cookies that uses browned butter but the flavour was too strong for me. Could i instead use melted butter without it affecting the recipe? would i need to substitute anything?

That'll work fine.

I go halfway. I am currently using the Serious Eats chocolate chip cookie recipe with my own modifications. For the browned butter, I am only browning half of the quantity, the rest I add to the batter as soft (room temperature) unbrowned butter. That makes the browned butter flavor less assertive.
