When to add back in the sausage?

I didn’t see in the recipe at what point you add back in the cooked sausage?

You could add it back when the broccoli rabe is done, just before you add the drained pasta.

Btw, I make a very similar recipe. Adding raisins when using broccoli rabe is genius. It adds a nice sweet note which counterbalances the bitter of the rabe.
