Do you have any make-ahead tips?

Thinking of making the layer cake part a day or two in advance. Also curious how you would store the components and the full cake.

You can make the cake ahead, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Warning, this may make the cake a bit sticky to the touch, but it will also make it fudgier in overall texture (super delicious)! The frosting is best made just before assembly, but The assembled cakes could be made up to 24 hours in advance. Wrap tightly/store in an airtight container in the fridge. Happy Baking!
