What happens to the other half of the cream mixture?

Hey Dan, you put half of the cream mixture (that was is the double boiler) into the eggs. Once you've tempered the eggs you put the egg + cream mixture back into the double boiler that has the rest of the cream. The other half of the cream was just waiting for the egg mixture to arrive at the party.
