There is a for "barley tofu" ... polenta

Jenny, you were wondering in the video about whether anyone else has made "barley tofu" before. They have, but they didn't call it that. They called it "polenta". Before Italy had corn, they used to make polenta from pearled barley ... including making it into cakes and frying it. So your recipe is Italian-Chinese fusion.
