Options for Grating the Asparagus

Hi Carol! It is a little time-consuming (but for what it's worth, it's the sort of repetitive kitchen task I find very relaxing with a good soundtrack). Shredding in a food processor should work just fine, though I haven't tried that myself with asparagus. If you opt for chopping (versus the grater attachment), just make sure the asparagus doesn't get too small/minced.
