She hasn’t updated it in a few years, but she's very careful and has delicious recipes. http://www.sodiumgirl.com/ I have a lot of trouble with garlic, so I often substitute prepared horseradish for sharpness (in hummus for example). Different brands have different levels of sodium, so check the label.
The Jain religion doesn't allow onion or garlic to be eaten, so their recipes and cookbooks should have lots of good ideas. Low salt- see online bookseller and/or heart association for recipes and books.
