Suggestions for leftover grilled Chick-fil-A

I have several leftover grilled chicken filets from Chick-fil-A. The strong grilled/smoky flavor is off-putting and I would like to use them in a recipe instead of wasting them. Any suggestions for a soup or casserole that would neutralize or mask this fake smoke flavor?

Thanks to those who responded. All good ideas! I am so picky about chicken and I will know better than to try to shortcut in the future - just cook fresh chicken! I just discovered this site, and I'm so glad I did!

Depending on how picky you are about chicken, if you need shortcuts, consider an in-store roasted chicken or a box of simple breaded frozen chicken.

You could also just rinse them & make chicken salad sandwiches. Use a bit of mayo, celery green onions & white pepper.

My son stirs it into mack and cheese. I sometimes use it in chicken corn chowder or tortilla/ enchilada soup.

It might be really difficult to neutralize the smoke flavor- but I would give a mole sauce a shot. You can buy a pre-prepared mole sauce, which is a LOT easier than making one from scratch. Then shred the filets and warm them up in that sauce, and serve up a Mexican inspired meal with rice, beans, and tortillas. Chocolate and chili may just cover the smoky sins.
