Cooking with oat milk & plant based milk
I have a family member who was recently diagnosed with an intolerance to lactose. We love to cook & we are determined to cook through this together! She would prefer to use oat milk. We are interested to know of your experiences & tips for cooking with it - specifically sauces & soups. Do we have to compensate for fat content? We are also curious about baking.

I strongly recommend that you look for recipes that have been developed specifically with oat milk in mind. Did you know there was a contest here on Food52 devoted to that, for dessert?
