I’m so excited to try this recipe for our priest friend from our church. He is from India, so I’m hoping he will enjoy the flavors!! I’ll let you know! Thanks to everyone for all the tips!!

If it turns out good without cooking the noodles that's what I will do!! I've done it with regular lasagna and, as you said, you have to cover the noodles completely with sauce. thank you!!

It works wonders! Keep me posted if you try it. ☺️

it's also a good idea to cover the entire dish with foil (or a more sustainable cover, if you have one) during the first half of the baking time. I've done it both ways and it makes a big difference. Even when you completely submerge the noodles in sauce, as they absorb it they can peek out a bit. Those renegade noodle edges can get really hard and crunchy. ;o)

Thank you!! I will cover for the first half of the cooking time.

I agree! Covering the pan with aluminum foil makes a huge difference. That 40 minutes of covered baking plus pasta sheets drenched in the sauce makes the best lasagna 😋.

I'm so glad you think so! I learned this the hard way, years ago . . . . . ;o)

Hi there, I have used uncooked noodles for this recipe. Make sure you cover the noodles in enough sauce. It will help lasagna noodles soften faster and cook evenly. You are more than welcome to cook the lasagna noodles if you like :).

No. I found the recipe on her blog, and in the photos she uses raw lasagna noodles. https://feastwithsafiya.com/the-best-butter-chicken-lasagna/
