Can this cake be made ahead and frozen?

Be sure to cool the cake thoroughly and then to double wrap it. I typically use a first very tight layer of cling wrap, and then wrap in freezer paper (which can be reused).
Let it come to room temperature by taking it out 3 or 4 hours before your meal. Don't sprinkle any confectioners' sugar on it until you are ready to serve. ;o)
