How would you bake this without a microwave? Thank you! Still want it in mugs (bakeable) for a party

I have not tested this, so can't say for sure it'll work! But if you do try, ensure the mugs are oven-safe and place them on a sheet pan so they don't fall over during baking and spill batter everywhere. I'd suggest a 350ºF oven for about 25 minutes (likely longer if you're baking more than one at a time), but again, haven't tried it!

Rebecca - I DID bake the mug-cake-in-ovem recipe and yes it works; I hope your 3 ingredient one would also.
Good reminder on oven proof mugs and sheet pan.

Maybe melt the chocolate chips in a small pan on stovetop or in toaster oven, if you have. Then mix all as directed. Bake about 20-30 minutes at 350F in a regular over, per this recipe for an oven-based mug cake. And/or use the recipe itself.
