What would be a good substitute fish for Rockfish

Question

I'm sorry, I hate to be "that person" but due lack of this fish in my area, what would be a good substitute for Rockfish? Thank you.

I personally don’t care for rockfish, agree with the below, I’d go cod, shrimp, or even tofu!  The marinade seems super flexible.

Pollock or even a simple cod, both which can be found in the freezer case in many places, would be a good substitute. They're all members of the cod family.  ;o)

I usually sub with tilapia, rock fish is expensive in my area! 😂

Any mild fish will probably work.  I’d even try it with boneless chicken breasts or thighs.
