Substitute for tapioca starch in this recipe

Can I use potato starch 1:1 as a substitute?

I haven't done it.
However my substitution bible says yes potato starch can work as a replacement, but not 1:1 ratio.
Rather, use less potato starch than tapioca starch - 7 to 10g for every 15g, or 1 1/2 to 2 tsp for every tbsp of the original.
