Blackberry pie is too tart can I sweeten it

I would preferably serve with vanilla ice cream or sweetened whipped cream.

Another option would be to sprinkle a liberal amount of sugar on top and glaze it with a butane torch (like a crème brûlée) although it might not be enough sugar to offset the tartness.
