Can I freeze what is leftover?

I have never made this specific recipe. I make a similar vegetarian recipe. I assure u there is not much difference, i double it - cuz while u are cooking why not? I freeZe it in 2 cup freezer bags which I lay flat on a baking sheet for easy storage once frozen. Do it!
