How far in advance can a fish soup be made. It is a soup, not a stew…no chunks of fish in it.

I was taught in food safety classes that you should not keep a soup made with fish or seafood refrigerated for more than three days- and preferably not more than one. If you are talking about a fish stock, then you could also make it ahead and freeze that for up to 2 months. You just want to freeze the stock, not any fish or veggies used to make it, because those get mushy on thawing.
