Reverse Creaming method for Simple Summer Peach Cake

Has anyone tried making the https://food52.com/recipes... using a reverse creaming method? I love this cake so much but it is delicate coming out of the pan, I wonder if reverse creaming would give it a bit stronger structure without getting tough …

The results are in! Reverse creaming yields an ultra tender fine crumb as the article mentions. The cake is still VERY delicate and wants to crack when you turn or lift it out if the pan. But honestly when it’s this good does one REALLY care? I used cherries for this version …
