Could anyone tell me how much a bag of chocolate chips weighs in the US please? I'm I'

I'd like to make this recipe and am in the UK so thought I'd ask rather than taking a guess at how much half a bag would weigh.

Hi, Barbara! A standard bag of chocolate chips in the US is 12 ounces or 340 grams. Half a bag would equal 6 ounces or 170 grams. I left this ingredient a little ambiguous because it doesn't have to be perfect- a few extra chocolate chips never hurt anyone :)

Hi, Finchly and thankyou for your help. Here in the UK the standard bags of chocolate chips weigh 100g so I'm very glad I asked.
