Mary, I've never blind baked it but I think it's worth trying. Just make sure you really shore up the sides with pie weights (or beans or whatever you use) so that it doesn't sag.
Thanks, Amanda! Any advice about what temperature and for how long? I was thinking 375 with foil and pie weights for the first 15, then remove foil/weights and bake another 10 min? watching for browning, all the while?
