Dough won’t come together, should I add water?

I’m having trouble getting the dough to come together. When I push it together in the plastic wrap it just falls apart. Do I need to add some water? Any advice?

Yes, from the sounds of it you need a little liquid. So that you don't add too much, if you can I would use a spray bottle to mist the crumbles and then push them together. Failing that, sprinkle cool water on with flicks of your fingertips. Go slowly until you can get it to come together. It's a lot like making pie crust, you want just enough to make it hang out together but not so much that it's sticky. Though if it is a bit sticky that's okay because you will be rolling it on a well floured board and you can brush off excess then. No worries, you got it.
