Substitute for Kraft wrapped caramels
I am making caramel thumbprint cookies but am having trouble finding the wrapped caramels. I bought Caramel topping but I'm thinking that's probably not a good idea. What else can I use? Thanks.

* look for the branded candy you want at specialty candy shops
* look for similar candies in stores or online
* use another reliable recipe that doens't depend on ready-made candy. For example, this one from Land o Lakes.
