Missing sugar from ingredient list?

Is sugar missing in the ingredient list? The instructions mention to add sugar with the salt. But it’s missing as to how much.

Hi! Apologies for the omission - I used 1/4 cup light brown sugar in this recipe. I updated the ingredient list to reflect it!

Until the author of this food52 recipe sees your question and updates the recipe, you could look at this reliable version of Beer Bread from food.com site, which uses 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp salt for similar 3 cups of flour.
