Why not grill the zukes for this recipe?

Question

Since its summer, the LAST thing I want to do turn on my stove!  FAR better to let my husband stand over a hot grill!  Could you just brush them w olive oil (no splattering)?

I guess most normal zucchini wouldn’t fall through. I was thinking of possibilities with the smallest zucchini and widest spaced grill, or ones that have been partly cut up.

They'd have to be REALLY tiny to fall thru--plus my husband has a screen mat (MAHVELOUS for veggies and shrimp!) that does the trick.

Maybe the original recommends stovetop cooking because it asks for small zucchini (which could fall through a grill).

If you use larger zucchini and/or a grull basket, yes I think the recipe would work if you grill them.

Why not grill the zukes for this recipe?
