Large box/small box. I need 2 small boxes for recipe

My recipe calls for two small boxes of pudding. I only have a large box and a small box. What do I do?

Without the recipe for reference I am kind of winging it here..... I would first look at the weights of the 2 pudding boxes. The large box may actually be 2x the weight of the small box then BINGO... use just the large box. OR, if the large box isn't 2x, I would take out my kitchen scale, tare out a bowl on it, open the small box and weigh the contents. Double the weight, open the large box and scoop the pudding mix into the bowl until you reach that 2x amount. Or tare the weight of the bowl with the contents of the small box, and add pudding mix from the large box until you reach that same amount. If you don't have a scale (put one on your birthday list!), you could use a teaspoon to carefully measure the amount of pudding in the small box, then open the large box and add the same amount from there. This won't be as accurate as weighing, but probably still OK. Best of luck!
