Watery dough- couldn’t knead . Too much water ?

I weighed all ingredients and found the dough to be more like cake batter -couldn’t shape it . So I kept adding more brown rice flour ( close to another cup) . Turned out fine but wondering if the 1 2/3 cup water is a typo?
