Preparing sides….times of sides

Can I prepare the stuffing and mashed potatoes the day before? And what departures do I reheat?

Hi Nancy!

Both of these can be made before hand!

Stuffing I'd bake until you are 90% of the way through your cook time, then the next day I'd bake at the same temperature as the first round, uncovered and maybe add 5 or 10 minutes to the remaining bake time to compensate.

For mashed potatoes, I'd microwave in bursts of 60 seconds, stirring between each round, until they are at the perfect temp! This will save you space on the stone and in the oven.

I make my mashed potatoes ahead of time & then the day of, I put them in a crock pot on warm so I don’t need to use oven space.
