Pumpkin Pie internal temp and surface issues

What is the internal temperature of a perfectly cooked pumpkin pie? Also, how do you stop the surface from cracking?

And if the pie still has some cracks, you could serve it with some garnishes to cover.
And give extra flavor or texture.
Whipped cream, confectioner’s sugar, some nuts or brittle.

I always aim for around 175°F, or when the pie is still a little jiggly in the center. Cooling the pie gradually can help with the cracking, too. (Just open the oven door slightly after you turn off the heat, then let the pie cool in there for about 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.)
