Using this same recipe but it very drippy. What. An I do to make it thicker?

I've never made this recipe but my first instinct is that the marshmallows were not cooled after microwaving and thus prevented the cream from whipping properly. would melt the marshmallows and fresh-out-of-the-fridge cream to ensure stiff peaks.
