This looks so good, but your recipe is missing instructions in step 1 for how to heat it (stovetop? At what heat level?)

You're absolutely right! I should have clarified that in step 1. To heat it, you can use the stovetop over medium-high heat. Here's a more detailed version of step 1:
Step 1: Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Once it's hot, add a small amount of oil (like olive oil or butter) to the pan. Let it heat up for about 30 seconds before adding your ingredients. This ensures a nice sear without burning the oil.

Given the age of the recipe, I think it unlikely you will hear from the recipe writer. I would assume that since it directs you to mix things in a microwave safe bowl, as opposed to a saucepan, you will be heating the mixture in the microwave on full power. That makes sense as the next direction is to stir it after 2 minutes, and for each 2 minutes to follow until it thickens. At that point you stir every minute. However, traditionally peda is made in a skillet over a low to medium heat because not everyone had a microwave. If you wanted to go that route, I'd look up a recipe for making peda in the traditional way and follow that using the ingredients of this recipe.
