I pre-seasoned my steak w/salt, pepper, garlic and lime. Did I ruin it by putting the salt on it - will it pull out the moisture? Planning on cooking it

Here's a bit on the science of salting steak.
The results is either salt it cook within 10 mins.
Or 40mins before cooking.
the in between times can draw out moisture. The longer time allows the moisture to retreat.
