Substitute for Cherry Marnier?

What type of cherry brandy or cherry liquer would best replicate Cherry Marnier?

Use a sweet brandy like De Kuypers. The really strong ones like Kirsch have a very high alcohol content and consequently don't taste much like cherries. A liqueur would work too, of course.
