Lower humidity and refrigerator, freezing veggies lettuce carrots etc?

Just wondering if when the seasons are changing and humidity is getting a bit lower do you have to adjust your 'fridge so it won't freeze veggies and fruits?

I keep my veggies in the bottom crisper drawer and occasionally have bumped the control from veggie to meat...the veggies froze. The bottom left corner of the frig. is the coldest spot, that might do it but, should be no difference with the seasons.
