How far in advance can I roast a pumpkin to be used in a pie?

I am making a pumpkin pie on Saturday. If I roast my pumpkin today, will it go bad by then?

No. You will be fine. Just keep your roast pumpkin (whether pureed or not) cool until you assemble the pie filling.
