Dutch Crunch Update: We Have a Matcha Dutch Crunch

Last week, I learned how to Dutch Crunch everything (okay, I'm still limited to bread—but furniture: you're next!). And then I pleaded with all of you talented bakers out there. (Yep, going to quote myself right now.)

Someone please make a chocolate loaf with a matcha crackle—I promise you'll get a million likes on Instagram!

And Bella Karragiannidis (check out her blog, ful-filled) did it! She really did it! She made a chocolate Dutch crunch over matcha milk bread rolls (this is the opposite of, but much better than, what I initially requested).

Bella went above and beyond my crazy ask: She shaped her rolls like the little turtles their topping evokes. (And it's timely, too: May 23 was World Turtle Day.)
