If you've spent any time at all on Food52 last week, you know there's been some funny business going on: We talked about wedding dresses, and guests lists, and elopements, registries, and marital traditions—almost as much as we've talked about food! (Though there was plenty of that, too.)

It was Wedding Week! What I personally loved most was hearing about all the great traditions of throwing tradition out the door: innovative wedding cakes, community vows from gay weddings, lace turned into jewelry, disposable weddings.
