"The Great British Bake Off Effect" is Real

August 25, 2017

The countdown to the new season of The Great British Bake Off is well underway with only 4 days until the Tuesday, August, 29 premiere. And though the show will return with a bevy of changes, one thing remains the same: sales of baking equipment surge in the days leading up to the show.

The phenomenon is dubbed the "Bake Off Effect" and is driven by customers stocking their pantries and loading their fridges in anticipation of a new season’s worth of recipes, ideas, tips, and tricks.

If you know the Bake Off Effect to be real and you're feeling flushed, excited, and emboldened by the promise of a new season, then check out some of our best end-of-summer baking recipes and head over to our shop to arm yourself for next week’s premiere!

Next week's premiere is not something those of us in the US can arm ourselves for :-(
Though, maybe it would be too sad to watch anyway. I'd like to find that out for myself, however. Why can't we at least get the first 4 or 5 seasons here?
Aggravating.
Deep breaths, happy thoughts....
