Lindsay-Jean - congrats in your second book, looking forward to seeing it and making this soup. Glad to hear you’re at Zingernan’s - one of my favorite delta/mail-order stores,

I just received the book, and have already bookmarked 6 "must make soon" recipes - and that's just from fall and winter!
Thank you for the Pfeffernusse recipe - a cookie my mother made when we were children that I didn't care much for then, so I didn't copy the recipe. That's first on my list to try, and a likely candidate for the holiday cookie boxes I ship out every year.
I also appreciate the various fun "days" like National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day and World Kindness Day, with the dates (both now on my calendar, to be strictly observed, of course). It's nice to see so many savory recipes, too!
What a lovely, fun, well-organized book. I'm looking forward to giving it to some of my favorite people next month!! ;o)
