Am making banana bread, but want to use mini-pans (2x4") and shallower (1" deep) than regular loaf pan. Is shorter baking time all that is

Keep in mind that a regular loaf pan holds about 8 cups. If you're using a full recipe for the minis you're going to need at least 16 of them,

Yes! Your batter and final product shouldn't be affected, but those pans sound tiny -- I would watch them like a hawk.
