What would you substitute for paprika in this, if you could not use that ingredient? Chile-related spices are also not an option. Thanks! ;o)

Thanks so much, all of you. I didn't get these responses in time, so I just left the smoked paprika out, and the dish tasted great anyway. Have never heard of smoked ginger before. Interesting. ;o)

A smoked or crystallized ginger might accent this well
